Dance Teachers

Virtuosity Dance Centre is always on the lookout for highly skilled, dance loving, kid loving, artistic, and fun dance teachers!

Employee pay starts at a minimum of $25 per hour and goes up DOE (years in teaching, setting curriculum, degrees/certifications are considered)

Responsibilities can include class planning and teaching along with choreographing performance material (regular weekly classes during the season will often require setting a performance piece on your class, choosing the costumes, music, etc). Some teachers may be required to open or lock up the studio.

2026/2027 Opportunities:

Guest Teachers for summer offerings such as intensives & workshops

Substitute Teachers: Fabulous teachers that can’t commit to a weekly class, but would love to be called on as needed

Dynamite jazz teacher with a love for kids, ability to work with dancers of all abilities (an understanding of the athletic trend jazz is heading in is a huge plus)

Competition choreographer (great at solos or groups - musical theater and jazz styles would be ideal)
